BrainMD Supplements Review: The Must-Read Before Buying Guide

 May 9, 2022

By  Carlos Ayala

If you are like most people, you probably don't give much thought to the health of your brain. You may think that as long as you eat a healthy diet and get plenty of exercise, your brain and body will take care of itself. Unfortunately, this is not always the case. Even if you eat a nutritious diet, there are certain things that can damage your brain health over time. This is where brain supplements come in.

If you are thinking about trying BrainMD supplements, then this review is for you. In this guide, I will go over everything you need to know about BrainMD supplements, including the benefits, side effects, and my personal experience with the supplements. I will also give you my honest opinion on whether or not BrainMD is worth your money.

Before setting on a journey to find everything I could to create a healthier brain, I had no clue that my brain needed any help. After all, I was young and healthy, and I didn't have any problems with mental clarity or focus, or at least that's what I thought. But when I reached my late 30's, I entered a period where I felt drained, and very tired during the evenings, my memory was getting worst, and felt that I was working harder to accomplish the same or less than before. At that point, I knew something had to change.

At the same time, my daughter was also going through some tough moments. Little did I know that by helping her I was going to find the answers to the pain I was experiencing. My daughter was diagnosed with ADHD in late 2017, and two years later I found out that I also had some level of inattentive ADD. Understanding the cause of my body and mind behaving in such a manner helped me take the proper action to not only feel 10 years younger but also to take on greater challenges that I previously believed I would never be able to accomplish.

My personal journey to optimize brain health

A few years back, I was in a bad place physically, emotionally, and mentally. I was struggling to keep up at work, feeling super tired all the time, not able to focus, and brain fog.

At the same time, I wanted to venture into starting an online business but didn't have the physical or mental capacity to take in all that information or the energy to be consistent. I was quickly approaching rock bottom and realized that something had to change. I was in my late 30s when all this started happening to me so I knew that I had to do something about it now before it was too late. Otherwise, another year would pass by and I will find myself in the same exact place. That thought felt terrifying and caused me to feel so much pain that trigger something in me to start looking for answers.

Four years later, I learned that our brains start to deteriorate faster between the ages of 30 to 40. This is due to many factors such as poor diet, lack of exercise, poor sleep, stress, toxins, a traumatic brain injury, and more. I also learned the importance of blood flow, water, and oxygen to the brain.

With this and additional information, I first corrected my sleep with supplements, brainwave entrainment, and meditation. Then, I focus to improve my memory which I noticed got better after being able to correct my sleep. I added more minerals to my diet and saw a big increase in energy.

Six months later, I was feeling a lot more energized, able to focus on demand, able to respond instead of reacting when facing challenging situations and spending more quality time with my family. As for the online business, I have been able to build a company to help people achieve their full potential in the United States and Europe. Now I am expanding into Spanish-speaking countries to make a greater impact.

I am now very grateful and thankful, after a lot of research and trying many things, that I found Dr. Amen's information and brain spect imaging. His information and supplements were life changing to get me where I am now and can't wait to achieve great goals and trust this information will do the same thing for you.

Take the time to explore my blog, particularly the articles that provide additional information and insights into how you can genuinely develop a healthier brain.

Overview of BrainMD supplements

BrainMD Health was founded by board-certified psychiatrist, clinical neuroscientist, and brain imaging expert Dr. Daniel Amen. His mission to end mental illness by creating a revolution in brain health started thirty years ago when he took on a Nuclear Brain Imaging Fellowship Study. In 1995, he ended up receiving a nuclear brain imaging license from California.

This allowed Dr. Amen to take hundreds of thousands of brain images (SPECT scans) which has helped him to better understand how the brain functions. With this new information, he was able to prescribe more targeted medication to his patients. However, Dr. Amen has always been conscious to help people in the most effective and safest way. This notion sparked him to look for different answers that might be of benefit to others.

Equipped with knowledge and the ability to perform brain scans, Dr. Amen started to run clinical trials to test different supplements and the benefit these have on the brain. His findings, backed by extensive research, revealed evidence of the positive impact supplements have on the brain.

Taking any kind of supplement alone is not enough, what's most important is the way the supplements are combined, the amount, and the quality.

BrainMD has been able to formulate its products with the perfect combination of supplements, so you can be sure that you're taking the right amount of each one. This way you know what to take to improve memory, mood, focus, stress relief, craving control, energy, sleep, and much more.

BrainMD supplement line is not only designed to support specific areas of cognitive function but also to provide your brain and body with the nutrients it needs to heal and produce optimal brain function.

Featuring over 30 science-based and clinically proven supplements, BrainMD nutraceuticals are physician-formulated and designed to deliver the highest quality and maximum absorption.

BrainMD's mission is to end mental illness by providing the best possible nutrients for brain health. Through personal experience, I can say they are doing a phenomenal job.

Pros and Cons of Medications

Although Amen Clinics physicians prescribe medication in extreme cases, they prefer to create treatments that include natural supplements as well.

The advantage of taking medication is that it can provide immediate relief for certain conditions. They are recommended in severe cases and for short periods of time since they are very effective at treating the symptoms but not the cause.

The downside, however, is that medications come with the potential for a long list of side effects since they are chemical based. No wonder why ALL prescriptions have a side effects label.

On the other hand, BrainMD supplements are safe and have no known side effects like medications. That being said, they may not work as quickly as some medications because they need time to build up in your brain and body system.

Pros and Cons of Medications

Pros and Cons of Nutraceuticals

Some people question whether nutritional supplements are needed when eating healthful food. According to recent research, a large proportion of foods contain less nutrients than previously believed. Similarly, many individuals suffer from compromised gut health, resulting in reduced absorption of nutrients. The fact that a supplement is highly beneficial for the health and wellness of an individual can greatly improve their overall health.

The term "nutraceutical" is used to describe any food or supplement that offers health benefits beyond the basic nutrients it contains. Nutraceuticals can come in many different forms, including vitamins, minerals, herbs, and even some food items like olive oil and blueberries.

Nutraceuticals are gaining popularity as an increasingly mainstream approach to maintaining overall health and wellness. These holistic supplements offer a wide range of benefits, from improving cardiovascular and gastrointestinal health to enhancing mood and boosting energy levels. Nutraceuticals work by providing the body with key nutrients and minerals that it needs for optimal brain function. They can also help to support the immune system in times of stress or illness. Furthermore, because they are derived from natural sources, such as fruits and vegetables, nutraceuticals tend to have lower rates of side effects compared to traditional pharmaceutical drugs. Overall, this makes them a great choice for anyone looking for a safe, effective way to enhance their overall well-being.

While there are many potential benefits to taking nutraceuticals, there are also some risks to consider. One of the most common concerns is that nutraceuticals are not regulated by the FDA in the same way as prescription medications. As a result, there is no guarantee of their safety or effectiveness. Additionally, taking too much of certain nutraceuticals can actually be harmful. For example, taking large doses of vitamin C can cause diarrhea, while overdoing it on iron supplements can lead to constipation. Therefore, it's important to speak with a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen. When used correctly, however, nutraceuticals can be a helpful addition to a healthy lifestyle.

Pros and Cons of Nutraceuticals

Importance of Brain Imaging in Supplement and Medication Management

Brain scan techniques such as SPECT imaging offer a wealth of information about the activity and function of different areas of the brain. By mapping out these regions, scientists can not only gain insights into how our brains work, but they can also use this information to better understand and treat certain neurological disorders. For example, brain scan studies have shown that Parkinson's disease is linked to reduced dopamine levels in a specific region of the brain. These findings suggest that medications that increase dopamine production could be a useful tool for treating Parkinson's patients. Additionally, since many drugs affect neurotransmitter levels in the brain, advanced brain imaging techniques are essential for understanding how these drugs affect both healthy individuals and those with neurological disorders. Overall, then, it is clear that brain scans play an important role in supplement and medication management. Through its ability to provide direct insight into brain functioning and enable precision prescribing, this technology promises to improve health outcomes by helping people achieve greater well-being.

Another way SPECT scans has helped Dr. Amen is to see your brain type to more accurately create a treatment program.

Traditional medicine focuses heavily on recommending medications that may help reduce symptoms rather than promoting positive biological effects in humans. Amen Clinics research shows that nutraceuticals and medication therapy can improve the efficiency of a person's treatment with a combination of brain scans.

BrainMD Supplements Serotonin Mood Support Review

Serotonin is a hormone and neurotransmitter responsible for regulating many aspects of our mood, behavior, and cognition. It is produced by neurons in the brain and functions by acting on various receptors throughout the nervous system. This tiny molecule has been shown to be vital for maintaining feelings of well-being and happiness, regulating appetite and sleep cycles, and mediating sexual behavior. Additionally, studies have linked low serotonin levels to conditions such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. So while we still have much to learn about this complex but crucial chemical messenger, it is clear that serotonin plays a critical role in ensuring our mental health and overall quality of life.

Depression happens when the brain is operating in an unbalanced state. Our brain is made up of several different chemicals that work together to maintain our mood, and when one of these chemicals is out of balance it can lead to feelings of sadness, anxiety, or hopelessness. Serotonin is one of these important mood-regulating chemicals, and when levels are low it can cause symptoms of depression. If you're struggling with depression and looking for a natural way to restore balance and improve your mood, BrainMD's Serotonin Mood Support supplement may be just what you need. Formulated with a unique blend of nutrients like vitamin B12/B12, folate, satiereal saffron extract, and 5-HTP, this supplement helps to increase serotonin levels naturally for improved mood and emotional well-being. So if you're ready to take control of your mental health, give BrainMD's Serotonin Mood Support a try to boost your mood.

BrainMD Supplements Omega-3 Power Review

Omega-3 is a fatty acid that plays many important roles in the body. It supports brain health and has been shown to improve memory and concentration. In addition, research suggests that omega-3 can reduce inflammation in the body, helping to lower the risk of conditions such as heart disease and arthritis. Because of its wide range of benefits, omega-3 is often included in dietary supplements and functional foods, with many people including it in their regular diet for optimal health. Whether consumed through natural sources like fatty fish or added to a balanced diet through supplements, omega-3 truly is a nutrient that everyone should be aware of.

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential nutrients that play a vital role in cognitive function, heart health, and inflammatory response. Unfortunately, the average diet is often deficient in omega-3s, which can lead to health problems down the road. BrainMD's Omega-3 Power is a high-quality supplement that can help to redress this imbalance. Each softgel contains a potent blend of EPA and DHA, which have been shown to support cognitive function, cardiovascular health, and healthy inflammation levels. What's more, the fish oil used in Omega-3 Power is ultra-purified for maximum purity, ensuring that you're getting the most bang for your buck.

The majority of Americans are short on omega-3s, getting barely a third of the daily amounts they require for optimal brain and physical health. Each serving of Omega-3 Power provides 1,600 mg of DHA, EPA and other omega-3s from ultra-purified, high-quality fish oil – roughly 5 times what you’d find in conventional brands and big box stores!

If you're looking for an omega-3 supplement that will support your overall health and well-being, BrainMD's Omega-3 Power is a great option. They offer free trials.

A Single Photon Emission Computerized Tomography or normally called SPECT brain scan at Amen Clinics typically costs between $3,500 and $4,500, depending on the specific brain scans that are being performed. The price includes the service of a highly trained technician, a review of the scan by a board-certified radiologist, a consultation with a board-certified psychiatrist, and one of our health care coordinators. In order to provide the highest quality care, they only accept a limited number of patients each day. This allows them to spend more time with each patient and ensure that they receive the individualized attention they deserve to find the best solutions. This allows the team to create a targeted treatment.
